Breakthrough Journey Dance Camp
Dance Workshop “Breakthrough Journey Dance Camp” with professional choreographers and dancers from Asia hosted by the BiG-i, will be held on Saturday August 26 to Sunday, August 27, 2023.
The International Communication Center for person with disabilities（BiG-i), Japan is Universal Design (UD) -complex with a multi-purpose hall, study rooms, accommodation rooms and a restaurant to meet a wide range of needs and is equipped. The BiG-i is open to all, regardless of disability, and aims to create opportunities for cultural, artistic and international exchange activities for people with disabilities and to promote their participation in society.

The International Communication Center for person with disabilities（BiG-i), Japan is Universal Design (UD) -complex. We leverage the features of our facilities, our expertise in culture and the arts for people with disabilities and international networks to develop and penetrate and arts projects and international exchange programs for a diverse range of people.
"Dance Camp", presented by us in this summer, provide an opportunity and the space in the field to meet, share and create new connections for people from different backgrounds - disabilities, nationalities, cultures and languages . Through this event, we will promote cultural and artistic activities of people with disabilities and create new models and values for co-creation in the performing arts.
The instructors will be professional choreographers and dancers active in home and abroad, including the dance company DAZZLE, known for its highly original work in a style that fuses contemporary and street dance, Lin Ching-Lan Dance Company（Taiwan）by deaf people, Hui Chun Kit, Cyrus (Hong Kong), Luqman B As'ad(Singapore) and Ammar Ameezy（Singapore）, a multi-talented and more…. All of the workshops truly feel a diverse range of people, dances and Asian energies.
For the event, Sign-language Interpretation (Japanese)・Consecutive Interpretation (Japanese-English) are provided.
