Spinning Crocodiles in the Metaverse: The Japan Cultural Expo VIRTUAL PLATFORM Meets Satoru Tamura’s Art

Starting June 30, the Japan Cultural Expo VIRTUAL PLATFORM will feature a new project in collaboration with the exhibition Spinning Crocodiles, Tamura Satoru, which is held at the National Art Center, Tokyo, from June 15 to July 18, 2022.
As they explore the different areas of the VIRTUAL PLATFORM, users will come across colorful crocodiles. Clicking on the "!?" symbol displayed by them will display an elaborate 3DCG model of Satoru Tamura's sculptures 《Spin Crocodile for S.W.》 The image can be zoomed in and out and rotated in any direction, allowing users to enjoy even the smallest details from any angle they like.
There are a total of seven crocodiles scattered across the virtual space. Visit each area to find them all and keep an eye out for the rare golden crocodile! In the Main Square you can also view the profile of the artist, a interview video, and other related content. Be sure to check them out!
