This international street performance festival opens in the historic Sumpu Castle Park, which surrounds the castle where the famous warlord leader Tokugawa Ieyasu once lived. The event provides an excellent opportunity for overseas visitors to enjoy diverse street performances (daidogei) in the spacious park and learn about Japan’s history and traditions.
