In the Shinano River basin, which is blessed with abundant nature and water, the Jomon people continued to work while coexisting and symbiosis  with nature for 10,000 years.In Sanjo City, where the Ikarashi River, a tributary of the Shinano River, crosses the center of the town, there are many archaeological sites that represent Jomon culture, including flame-shaped pottery.Therefore, by promptly disclosing the results of the archaeological excavation survey conducted in recent years, the restored relics, and the relics of the material survey, we will provide the citizens with an opportunity to learn the history unique to Sanjo, and spread the history and culture of Sanjo City both domestically and internationally. It is something that will be transmitted.
