Nature Worship and the Formation of Japanese Culture Sacred Island of Okinoshima Cross-Regional Promotion Project
The exhibition World Heritage Site Okinoshima x Hokusai Manga will be held at Tokyo Midtown Hall in conjunction with The Complete Hokusai Special Exhibition, which commemorates the 260th anniversary of the artist's birth. A collaboration video that uses images from Hokusai's manga to promote the World Heritage Site of Okinoshima will be shown at the venue and published on social media. In addition, a booklet titled Haruka Munakata, which introduces the site of Okinoshima and related cultural facilities, will be distributed at various museums in Kanto and western Japan, including World Heritage centers in Shizuoka and Fukuoka Prefectures, and will serve as a promotion tool to attract visitors from different regions.
