The POLA Foundation of Japanese Culture has been promoting traditional culture in various parts of Japan for more than 40 years since its establishment in 1979. As part of its project, the “POLA Award for Traditional Japanese Culture” is presented to individuals and groups who have contributed to the development and succession of traditional culture. This year, we will hold a commemorative exhibition of the award winners entitled “Birth: Each Story of Beginning” to depict the moment when each award winner’s outstanding skills and feelings of connecting traditional culture are born.
