Art Festivals & Events

Autumn is the season of arts and culture in Japan. From October 30 to November 21, Wakayama Prefecture will host the two largest cultural events in the country: the National Cultural Festival and the National Arts and Culture Festival for Persons with Disabilities. The Senryu Poetry Festival, which celebrates this Japanese tradition of poetry, will be held in Arida during this period, as one of the four events organized by the city’s Executive Committee.
