The world of Jun Mihara - Her history and the path to revival -

In memory of Jun Mihara, who was born and grown up in Sapporo and had kept being a manga artist, we hold the first Sapporo exhibition of her original art 25 years after her demise. She had created many an extraordinary works in her short life of 42 years, and her masterpiece "Hamidashikko" series gained lots of enthusiastic supporters. Even after her passing away, all her works were published in pocket edition and luxurious art book was released. So more and more people are finding her works and getting attracted. In this exhibition, we explore the origin and appeal of Jun Mihara world from about 150 pieces of works including her childhood pictures and essays.
