Ballet for Children 2021 RYUUGUU - The Turtle Princess
In summer 2021, we will be presenting the revival of the highly acclaimed 'Japanese Fairy Tale Ballet for all the Family "RYUUGUU - The Turtle Princess"', a new production for FY2020 Japan Cultural Expo Project by MORIYAMA Kaiji. Based on a fairy tale from the well-known story of Urashima Taro, this work has elements of classical Japanese theatre throughout. The playful design of the set and the stage projections combine with the expressiveness of the ballet to create a world of wonder in the NNTT's Opera Palace. This Japanese-themed NNTT ballet fantasy is a must-see for all ballet fans, whether children or adults.
