Cultural Exchange Program between Japan and the Vatican: Creating experience-based contents of the Nagasaki's nature and culture
By investigating and researching the historical materials held by the Apostolic Vatican Library and Apostolic Vatican Archives, we will clarify and present the overall picture of cultural exchange between Japan and the Vatican. The results will be announced in a symposium that will be held in Tokyo and Nagasaki. In addition, we will continue to develop tourism assistance services that incorporate AR content and multilingual access in collaboration with Nagasaki Prefecture and other local authorities in the area. We will present the world heritage "Hidden Christian Sites in Nagasaki and Amakusa Region" to the world, many beautiful remote islands, and the achievements of the Tensho embassy of Europe in Omura City.
