The Exhibition "Isamu Noguchi: Ways of Discovery" -Representation of Japanese Tradition and Beauty of Nature-
A project where you can experience the Japanese tradition and the beauty of nature represented by a world-famous sculptor, Isamu Noguchi (1904-1988), through his works. This project forms a part of the exhibition "Isamu Noguchi: Ways of Discovery", which looks back on the achievements of Isamu Noguchi, one of the foremost artists of the 20th century. In the exhibition, there will be a room decorated with approximately 150 pieces of "Akari" light sculpture, inspired by the traditional lantern handcrafts of the Gifu Prefecture. Also on display are stone sculptures from The Isamu Noguchi Garden Museum Japan, made of locally quarried stones.
