Stage performances that fuse diverse cultural genres will be hosted to promote Gunma Prefecture and enhance its unique cultural charms. To commemorate the grand opening of the West Cocoon Warehouse at the World Heritage Site Tomioka Silk Mill, The World Heritage Theater was held last October for two days under the theme of traditional performing arts. On the first day of the event, a joint performance by Hatsune Miku, bunraku theater and the Gunma Symphony Orchestra was presented and represented its tradition and innovation. On the second day, Ichikawa Ebizo, a famous kabuki actor, gave a special performance.
