Art Festivals & Events

This exhibition features a wide variety of works of art from various genres and time periods that have been influenced by the Japanese view of nature, from Jomon pottery to Edo period ukiyo-e paintings, modern Western-style paintings and cutting-edge contemporary art, as well as traditional crafts nurtured by Japan’s climate and natural features. The aim of this sweeping exhibition is to create opportunities for everyone to enjoy art. Virtual exhibition experiences will be offered in light of COVID-19, and several art initiatives, including introducing Tokyo's latest art scene, will be undertaken to promote the charms of Japan.
