The Matsue Warrior Procession is a spectacular festival that re-enacts Horio Yoshiharu(the founder of Matsue)ando his party entering Matsue Castle.Every year participants dressed as brave warriors and colorful princesses march towards Matsue Castle along the cherry tree-lined streets of Matsue city.The first procession was held in fall 2003.Popular with locals and tourists,it gets crowded with spectators every year.
