Zenshin-za Kabuki at National Theatre features 3 plays "Ayatsuri Sanbaso" "Syunkan" "Tagaya no Kinta”

Kabuki performances by Zenshin-za Theatre company. The program includes three representative kabuki genres, that is “buyo”(dance), “jidaimono"(historical), and "sewamono” (contemporary). The dance “Ayatsuri Sanbaso” is filled with sense of humor choreographed in a way a marionette dances, while historical “Syunkan” is a classical masterpiece of spectacle drama with universal humane theme. The last “Tagaya-no-Kinta” depicts the lives of ordinary Edo contemporaries comically, based on the classic Rakugo narratives.
