Adjusting to the new normal, Nijo-jo Castle—a UNESCO world heritage site—presents new ways to experience this historical site. For those who visit the actual site, we offer a guided tour by samurai with historical backgrounds. Our samurai guides conduct tours of the National Treasure Ninomaru Palace from their own perspectives. Making use of Mixed Reality technology, we deliver an expanded guided tour experience. For those who cannot come to the site, such as fans overseas, we offer a virtual tour in which you sneak into a 3D virtual Nijo-jo Castle as a ninja, finding never-before-seen angles and infiltrating a castle tower that no longer exists today. We aim to establish a tourist entertainment venue that can be enjoyed in both real and virtual forms.
