"Sompo Japan Nipponkoa Museum of Art" opened as the first high-rise museum in Japan in 1976 will be relocated to a new museum building on the ground. It will be opened as the "Sompo Museum of Art" which is designed as an art work resembles a "sculpture" of the entire building in 2020. It will be expected to be a valuable heritage of Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics as a Shinjuku art landmark and offer the spiritual richness respects the natures. It will deliver various cultures and arts including Japanese culture to both domestic and international. We will develop this museum to be a valuable heritage toward next 50 years.
