Special Display of Rediscovered Tsukiji Akashi-cho Town by Kaburaki Kiyokata
Modern Nihonga painter Kaburaki Kiyokata’s (1878–1972) masterpiece Tsukiji Akashi-cho (Tsukiji Akashi-cho Town; 1927) was missing for 45 years from soon after his death. Kaburaki was known for his depiction of the ways people of the Meiji era (1868–1912) enjoyed the four seasons.
