National Treasures of Kyoto: Preservation, Repair, and Conservation
This exhibition shows people’s respect of and affinity for nature as found in Kyoto-related National Treasure paintings, calligraphy, sculpture, crafts, and archaeological artifacts. It also introduces the repair of cultural properties, procurement of natural materials for repair, and transmission of traditional repair techniques.
