Experience Japanese Culture (Hands-on Program): Samurai Mania! Explore Japanese Armor at TNM

People of all generations and nationalities will enjoy this chance to appreciate up close and touch reproductions of samurai armor (yoroi). You can handle and examine closely faithful replicas of samurai armor and helmets, which first appeared in the Heian period (794–1185) and continues to be admired to this day. Children and adults can “Try on Armor” on designated days. Support staff are available and explanatory panels are provided in four languages (Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean).
