Inspired by the bountiful seas of Iwate’s Sanriku coast and historical environment, new art forms come to life on themes related to the legends of Tono and stories by local author Miyazawa Kenji. The program will show the world how Iwate is recovering from the devastation of the Tohoku Earthquake and Tsunami of 2011.
