Explore Nabegataki Falls, a scenic waterfall located in Oguni, northern Kumamoto Prefecture. It is part of the Aso Geopark, which includes Mt. Aso, one of the world's largest calderas. The falls create a wide curtain of water and are surrounded by dense forest. They are popular for the view and their setting. Behind the falls, there is a cave you can enter for a different view of the cascading water. During the spring, the falls are illuminated, creating a colorful, dream-like scene. The falls are 10 meters high and 20 meters wide.
