The Shigaraki Ceramic Cultural Park will be used as the stage for the exhibition of pottery from the Jomon period to the present day, creating an opportunity to deeply experience the Japanese sense of beauty and view of nature. High-resolution replicas of Japanese art using pottery will be displayed, and a recorded performance of the Shigaraki Taiko drum, one of the Shigaraki’s creative performing arts, will be shown in the gallery to provide visitors with an opportunity to deeply experience Japanese technical skills, the history of pottery, local culture, and the Japanese sense of beauty and view of nature. In addition, video distribution and related events will be held to create a sense of familiarity with Japan and a desire to revisit the country while a diverse range of people enjoy Japanese art in a variety of locations.
