Osaka International Culture and Arts Project

Since April 2023, the Osaka Cultural Arts Business Executive Committee has worked to enhance the appeal of local cultural resources, aiming to allow both domestic and international visitors to enjoy Osaka's cultural arts during the Osaka/Kansai Expo. We are initiating the 'Osaka International Cultural Arts Project' to further highlight the diversity and richness of Osaka's cultural arts.

【EXPO ART & MUSIC CAMP】

The EXPO ART & MUSIC CAMP is an outdoor festival held in the Expo ’70 Commemorative Park. It offers a chance to enjoy music and art while immersing yourself in the beautiful natural surroundings. You can enjoy various musical programs, including pop music performances, as well as art programs, such as art exhibits and workshops. Set in the venue of the 1970 Osaka Expo, this event also aims to increase momentum for the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo.

Chillin' Vibes (Co-sponsored Program)

Chillin' Vibes is a music festival that offers a unique 'Music & Relax' experience. You can enjoy musical performances while relaxing in the park, like a picnic with live music.

EXPO MUSIC CAMP

The EXPO MUSIC CAMP is a live acoustic-music concert held at the Momijigawa Lawn Plaza, where you can enjoy great music on the beautiful fresh grass. Harami, a famous pianist, as well as other popular musicians from Osaka, will perform at the event. You can also relax on the hammocks situated at the back of the audience area, offering a unique and soothing musical experience that can only be found at the Expo '70 Commemorative Park.

Golden Concert and Forest Concert

Mini concerts will be held by the Arrow Jazz Orchestra Jazz Quartet. They will be performing at two different locations: the Expo '70 Pavilion Annex and the Modern Art Forest. The Expo '70 Pavilion Annex, which opened in August, features exhibits such as the 'Golden Mask' which was installed at the top of the Tower of the Sun during the 1970 Osaka Expo.

EXPO ART CAMP

ART ENNICHI will take place at the Lower Plaza and is all about enjoying art. The name ART ENNICHI means 'art festival,' and it will have festival booths, like a cotton candy shop, a candy-craft workshop, and game booths such as ring toss and a shooting gallery. You can closely appreciate works of art while having fun at this festival-like art event. There will also be a horror house decorated by contemporary artists from Osaka, providing opportunities for local artists to showcase their creative skills.
At the Higher Plaza, art workshops will be held. You can have a relaxing time of admiring art in the grassy area. Children can also participate in art workshops such as Lego, Osaka traditional crafts, and origami workshops.

Gutai the REVIVAL VOL.02

Gutai the REVIVAL VOL.02 is an exhibition showcasing the art style of Gutai that originated in Osaka. It will be held at the Expo '70 Pavilion, which inherits the excitement and legacy of the 1970 Osaka Expo. The exhibition will feature works by AU, demonstrating their ongoing and lively creative activities. You can participate in workshops hosted by AU and enjoy a free and artistic experience.

The Expo '70 Commemorative Park Legacy & Art Tour

This is a special tour held at the site of the 1970 Osaka Expo. During the tour, you can learn about and experience the art and legacy of the Expo. During the tour, you will visit the Tower of the Sun to see the interior, as well as the Expo '70 Pavilion, which was once the Steel Pavilion. An expert on the Expo will guide you during the tour, and comedians will also be present to add some fun and entertainment to the experience.
